Urban Assemblies aims to document and validate the ground up
structures littered around our highly policed urban infrastructures.
Going against the jurisdiction of the land, these subversive bricolage
reforms the experience of our monotonous outdoor public cadence.
Collecting the stories of individuals, documenting the anomalies
within their immediate surroundings, this zine displays photographs
and illustrations of the weird and wonderful bricolage morphologies.
The common threads of territorialisation and boundaries in our
cramped urban environment, is shown though this zine exploration.
The themes of guerilla defiance and the savviness ignites the
emergence of interesting assemblages, cutting against the grain of
social norms and enforced guidelines.
